All first time CrossFitters will be required to attend foundation classes. These are SIX one hour personal training sessions held by our certified coaches. You will receive 1 on 1 attention and training on the basic movements of CrossFit including but not limited to the Squat, Deadlift, Jerk, Snatch, and clean. These personal training sessions are designed to get you ready for group classes! These personal training sessions are going to ensure that you are safe and ready to join the group classes.
CrossFit classes generally last 1 hour and begin with mobility/stability drills and dynamic warm ups. Following the warm-ups, participants will be instructed on the Workout of the day (WOD). All WODs can be scaled to the individual’s strength and skill level making these workouts fun and competitive for all. Once the WOD is completed additional strength or skill work will be presented. All classes are constantly varied functional movements and will test multiple parameters of your individual fitness.
1-on-1 training sessions provides a private experience for anyone looking to start their fitness journey. With this service, you’re in control of your training schedule and every session is individually tailored to your goals and fitness level. Need help on skills or want a little extra push? Saturday Morning Throwdown
On the first Saturday of each month starting at 9 AM CrossFit Watauga will host an in-house competition. Multiple WODs or skills will be organized and judged and winners will receive Box bragging rights and various prizes. This is a fun event where all are encouraged to participate.
